So from shopping around, it doesn't appear that the Bose stereo option makes life easy if you want to add a roll cage. Apparently, nobody makes a roll cage that installs without removal of the rear Bose speaker box.
So, some questions for all you experts :
1. What's involved in removing the Bose box?
2. Is this easily reversible or would it mess up something?
3. When I remove the box, does it look unfinished or odd?
4. Is there something else needing modification to install a bolt on roll cage?

i have the bose setup and used the 4 point a/p roll bar. no mods needed bolts right in . gmg also make a chromoly roll bar 4 point bolt in

 

You can put in the Tequipment roll bar in there without having to mess with the Bose sub. If you want to remove it, it's a matter of two screws and removing the brackets. Takes about 10 minutes. I removed mine and this is what is looks like.

Bose sub can remain while using the Tequipment Bar.

Agency power roll bar works with Bose as well. It has the same mounting positions as the tech. In addition the horizontal and diagonal members come go in and out easily. I got mine from vivid
