I finally got my schedule sorted out and went to Orton Performance to have the PSI Motorsports 480hp upgrade done. Frankly, I was skeptical about how much difference I would be able to feel since I don't drive that car on track. I was stunned when I first drove it. The first thing I noticed was the improved throttle response and torque down low. The car responds to throttle input quicker and pulls stronger from below 2K rpm. My long drive home reinforced that initial impression as the car is actually more tractable than in stock form. I love the power down low!!!

Now for the really good stuff. I pulled out of Orton and found a new rarely used empty road. In second, I put it to the floor as I have done many times and was shocked. The front of the car actually lost traction a bit and it pulled a lot harder than stock! I will say that when your tires are not up to temp, if you put you foot down you better have both hands on the wheel! The car builds to full boost almost immediately and is just shockingly fast; above 3K it's like a wild animal! I am very, very impressed with the upgrade and highly recommend it if you are thinking of upgrading your car.

We've been hearing a lot of good things about PSI lately it seems.

Competition can only improve the breed. (I can think of at least one famous German car company that seemed to have forgotten that until recently )

Ditto on the 480 chip from PSI. I second the comment about the tires because the first time I drove my car after it was tuned I thought to myslef I need to stiffen the PSS9 before I get on the track bucause it is going MUCH faster if you hold it down. About 500 miles on mine now and no problems. Neil is a good fellow and will stand behind his products. Just got some new rims and I am waiting on a PSI painted front spoiler and a painted strosek rear wing. I'll post some pics when I'm done. Enjoy the NEW car.

Add one more satisfied PSI / Orton Performance customer to the list....my car is unbelievable after the PSI upgrade !! The best part of the PSI program is how quickly the boost and torque build ! It feels like a normally aspirated car and just pulls and pulls to redline.

Neil's customer service is second to none..called several times to insure my car was doing well, and even met me on a Saturday to do some suspension adjustments.

Now, if he would only include free tire balancing due to the tires spinning on the rims with the PSI torque....
