What'll it cost me?

Gang - what should I expect to pay for the following items at an indy shop?
Swapping out my stock shifter for a 997 one (Already have part)
Replacing the oil pressure sender unit (With new part)
I know shop labor rates vary, so how much time am I looking at for these? I have 10 thumbs and zero ability, so DIY isn't an option.
Just curious so I know going in and I can plan accordingly. I like the shop I use but I operate under the "trust, but verify" rule.
Thanks!
Todd

That's good you admit that. I have seen my share of inferior work and repair attempts at my facility. Always great to have a local indy that is experienced, knowledgable and trustworthy.
My shop has quoted 1.5 hours for the shifter install and 2.5 hours to replace the oil pressure sender plus $58 for the part, for a total of $551. Seem reasonable? Wish I knew how to do this stuff myself - it would make Porsche ownership a lot more manageable.
honestly the shifter install is one of the easiest mods you can do for a novice. it takes more time to remove the center console than anything else. its a great way to start learning about your car. take your time and do the research before you start.

Most of the time in the shifter install is just R/R the center consol. It really is a easy DYI. While your at it you can get a factory CF shifter lever and E Brake handle (Suncoast).
Good advice - I did that. Both CF parts are a really nice touch.

Seems swapping out the entire shifter would require some skill to not fudge it all up. I'm looking for smooth - not mangled, as it would probably be if I did it.
I was actually more surprised that the oil pressure sender is a 2.5 hour job. I thought that would be really quick based on what I've read on here with guys swapping them out in 10 minutes on their own.
Already have both of those pieces. Plus - I'm looking to spend less, not more.
