Iam surprised that you haven't done the center consol delete then you will get more room for your right leg.

I don't want to spoil vivids thread but i know who makes the FVD steering wheel .... and a few others . What i would like to see is smaller diameter wheel 34 cm or less that have the porsche emblem.
Completely understandable. I reached out to them because I saw the interest in this thread and got a laundry list of reasons why it would not be done.

However like I said earlier in this thread, we also work with DCTMS on different projects so I can still offer his smaller wheel

I like having the center console (I like the looks and functionality).

One of my objectives was a thicker steering wheel. If you delete the center console and then make the OEM diameter steering wheel thicker (new wrap), the steering wheel looks huge as the added thickness adds to the overall diameter and it increases the visual size of an already large (IMO) OEM steering wheel. It would have been just too BIG a look for my tastes.

By going with a thick 340mm FVD steering wheel I only came away with one minor issue (the upper tach obstruction), which I found a work-around for that works great for me. On the plus side, I got the thicker grip, a big increase in room between the steering wheel and my right leg, was able to keep my center console, got a decrease in steering wheel input to achieve the same steering response from an OEM steering wheel, and got custom interior matching Metropol Blue leather for the steering wheel and new hub.
