Greddy Profec B problems

Just noticed that my Greddy Profec B spec 2 doesn't appear to be working. The unit comes on and I can go through the different settings. But, the display unit only shows "0.00" when I start it up and "-.01" when I go WOT and ease off. I know the unit isn't working because the stock pressure readout in the dash shows a solid .70-.80 bar at WOT. So this tells me something is wrong with the Greddy. The solenoid connections are fine and there are no boost leaks. Any ideas, i.e. bad solenoid? Thanks.

I never used the greddy unit but it does not sound like a solenoid problem but more like sensor/sensor line problem. The unit should read the boost psi even if the solenoid is not working.

Just get a new one. I haven't had problems with the ones I've owned but others have gone through a few of them.

Well am sorry for you !
But if you want my advise it will be much better / easier to swap the greddy with HKS evc6 boost controller much easier and you can fully controll the boost .. !

Regards

Going to look to see if there is a break in the line that reads the vac as suggested by Fire. I hope that's all that is causing this problem. Otherwise, I HAVE to buy the new Greddy Profec OLED!

I had a similar problem with mine, it was deafulting to the wastegate pressure (1bar) regardless of what I had selected, thought it was a bad headunit, ended up being a small 2-3" hose that was cut, this hose is located on just on the right of the centerline above the secondary air pump, you can clearly see it when opening the engine cover and look just underneath the overhang on the right.

I also had one of the in tank fuel pumps go bad but thats another story....
