So why don't you have your OEM wheel cut down then re-covered. in some snazzy new leather.
Yeah I am sure Dan is not doing this himself but WHO CARES, There are part makers, then there are venders and middle men. In the end it looks to be a quality piece of work...
I do remember Dan saying something about using a German company for such stuff before. Meh, either way.

Very easily done, Wheel has a metal frame, un-wrap and cut down metal frame to keep precise curves then re-cover. I have been meaning to get mine done but I really am short on time in this life to do all that I want.
Yeah you say that like everyone should just automatically know what you are talking about.
How is that different then stock, any links, Quality????

I have the FVD Daytona GT 340mm steering wheel in custom Metropol Blue leather. It's thicker than the OEM steering wheel, and it has a smaller diameter. I ordered the FVD unit because I didn't have any room between my right leg and the OEM steering wheel. Another reason I ordered the FVD unit is because I think the OEM unit is way too skinny; just not enough steering wheel in my hands for my liking. The quality of the FVD steering wheel is outstanding.
Here's the OEM steering wheel beside the FVD Daytona GT 340mm steering wheel:
