Do the Lambos have a aero advantage? We had this supercar innovational at Miller and at the end of the day marked off a 1/2 mile on the front straight and my friends UGR Lambo ran a not trying very hard 175, he has gone 238 in the mile before said it felt fine. crazy

not necessarily better aero but a longer wheelbase/footprint for sure and by more than a foot IIRC.One reason a Ford GT is so stable at speed. The wheelbase on my Ford Gt is about twenty inches longer than my Porsche.

I know of a 996 Turbo that went 223 MPH in the Canadian more then a mile event. Notice I said a More then a mile event.
Things do seem to be moving a whole lot quicker when you pass about 210.

Also keep in mind the moons have to be aligned properly , the temperature and wind!! I remember the last mile event I went to, I went 219 and had to leave after making changes ...Eventually everybody went 5 mph faster , instead of a head wind earlier they had a tail wind.

The front splitter that I make makes a huge impact in front end. I'm able to get my p zero slick tires up to heat without needing that much outer toe in the front, which i use to use in order to make the front end sharper. I don't know at speeds over 200mph what the effect is, as i dont use my car for that purpose. Most of the speeds i use my car for are 40 mph to 120 mph, and i gained 2 seconds per lap on a 4 mile course. The faster i go, the more responsive the front end gets.
Porsche did their hw on the 996 RSR and published this data...self explanitory, you can add a splitter at X lenght with minimal to no increase in drag. The longer it is, the diminishing returns you get.
In my experience in having mine for near a year now. I DD my car. It gets up to 192F ( normal 182ish) in standing still traffic in San Francisco rush hour traffic. That is stop and go traffic for 1 hour or more at times...nothing that concerns me...other then that, 0 issues.
