late night fun in the snow with the TT - pics
hey folks
worked till late yesterday in my office back home. at 02.00am i went down to have a sleep. while walking down i recognised that everything was white outside... it must be snowing since hours and i didn't see it... already with my toothbrush in my hand i thought about having a little ride with the Porsche... on the other hand it's already very late and i'll have to get up early... damn... who care's!! i took my clothes and walked down to my garage... 02.20am on the clock... puuuh!!! but after getting on the road all tiredness was gone immediately. streets were covered with at least 10cm of fresh snow. pushed the PSM button and floored it down.. a little shaky first but still easy to control. drove to the parking lot from the supermarket nearby and made some easy drifts and donuts. after that i continued my ride towards downtown and took more or less every corner sideways.. but with a decent speed. don't wanted to risk a crash or something on those tiny roads. since i only had my little photocam with my and no tripod the pictures are not high quality. but they give an impression how funny it was to be out there and burn some fuel very late night. here you go:

but as mentionned i only had my small cam with me and no tripod. so don't expect any HD or Oscar worthy pictures
. and since it was late night, just small light. but i planned to go to the nearby alps soon for some more fun and then i'll have my gopros and other cams with me. and that will be during daylight

How's life in Switzerland? Have you always lived there?
What part do you /or would you live in? Average house cost?
How do you compare it too other european countries?
Sorry for all the OT questions but curious to hear how the life is there from someone that live's there.

a lot of questions, hard to tell with just a few words...
yes, i was born here and, except a few months, i lived all my live here
hard to say, but since Switzerland is a very small country (only a third of Florida) it doesn't really matter where to live. it takes about 4 hours of driving and your gone from east to west
all great places like the alps can be reached very quickly from everywhere. but since i live in the eastern part i recommend to live there. very close to germany and austria, only 1 hour away from the alps and the very scenic landscapes from Appenzell in the backyard. btw great region with curvy roads - TT terretory
it's hard to compare... for me i'm very happy that i live in a very safe and clean country, stable, pretty well working social system, punctual public transportation and high living quality. the only bad thing is that we don't have any racetracks in switzerland - forbidden by law! that's why we always have to drive to germany, france or italy. but since this isn't far away i can live with that. and furthermore having a blast from time to time on the german autobahn is quite nice
