MSINDI (Question)
MSINDI (Question)
Question, you had that Lambo awhile and have done some mods. Is it a better car than a Porsche Turbo? Anyone have a prediction?

Both are great yet very different cars...
Out of the box I htink the Gallardo is a much better handling car (firmer suspension and tighter steering)....
Also, with the number of turbos produced and the MSRP of my last TT (160K USD), the money is better spent on the G as it depreciates a lot slower and is more unique (if that is a factor in purchas decision)
Of course, on exhaust note there is no comparo...
Things I hate about the G: turning radius blows, too low that you cant see anything out of the car and scrapes everywhere (05 Gs in the US have frint lift as standard feature)
I thought TT mods were a ripoff till I got the G!! Also, all my mods are looks only other than the straight pipes and hopefully wexhaust soon...
TT cars have better mod/tuning potential
As for the better car: depends on why you buy it really....I never track so cant comment on that...For a weekend sports car, I'll take the Lambo anyday...
Then again, I am first here for a 997TT in Dubai
(My first car was a 911 so I am biased and brand loyal)

If my TT only depreciated by 30% Id be happy....Porsches have too many options that have zero resale...on the G the most you can do (other than e-gear) is 15-20K tops (ok they now have a CF interior for 8K but thats plain silly)
Off the line the TT was faster....but thsi could be because G is e-gear so cant dump clutch...Off da line improvement in my G after the Cargraphic cat bypasees

Used 04 G's are still selling in the 145-155 range from an MSrp of 165. Later they raised the prices, hence giving people the idea that they depreciate more than they actually do. As of now, the market for these cars is strengthening.
