Fabspeed 70mm exhaust Drone

Bought 2002 996 TT recently has many mods, one being the exhaust (fabspeed 70mm). I love the sound although cant take the drone. Are there any other exhaust systems that are equal in performance? The car also has evoms 750gt kit so I dont want to eliminate anything that will impact the cars power.

Thanks in advance

I do not know from experience (yet), but check out SpeedTech exhaust systems, specifically the 2.5 which is supposed to be virtually drone free. I will be purchasing one of these soon.

most off the shelf exhausts are pretty quiet, some drone some not as much, but I still have yet to find one that does not and can hold up 750HP... we try to make them car /kit specific, not just throw some elbows and cheap clamps and let you figure it out... custom mufflers are made in house from scratch as well.. there is more to it then just a 2.5" pipe or a X vs oem type muffler approach...
best is listen to one but do not expect all of them to hold up to power especially up on top...
good luck

ps. I would keep what you have and let if grow on you... what do you expect from a 750hp car...

I have driven a car with alpha3076 and markskis exhaust. It sounds very good and the drone is hardly there.

My car has zero cats or real mufflers and it gives me a good headache on the highway.

We designed our 2.5 internal X-Flow exhaust with exactly the goals you have in mind. Similar circumstances with my own car provided the impetus to design a high performance exhaust that was comfortable as a daily driver and enhanced our 700 HP package. After extensive testing with muffler design and "X" design, tip shape and size, perforated pipe style, etc. - we arrived at a perfect blend of a glorious GT3 type sound on the outside, while still providing a very comfortable cabin environment. Our 2.5 system is considered very "wife friendly" by many 6speeders (read our testimonials if you have a chance), which is another way of saying it's great sounding both in and outside of the car....

Let me know if I can help. I know from experience that if you purchase our 2.5 system, you will be very glad you did...so many have said they knew it would be good, but our sound quality far exceeded their expectations!

Cargraphic exhaust,

Have one fitted to my Turbo with 200cell cats. The drone is minimal and the sound is fantastic up top, nice and raspy.

would highly recommend

200 cell Cargraphic would be very restrictive for that level..
I had one prior to my 100 cell Milltek and even changed the cats to Speed Tech 100 cell cats.

I sold a car with a 911Tuning X-flow about 2 months ago.

I missed it so much I bought ANOTHER one from Markski for the GT2. Yes, the EXACT same exhaust, I bought it 2x.

My Kline Innovation crossover is almost completely drone free. I've got 200 cell cats, but they do them with 100 cell as well if needed. There's a few sound/video clips on youtube.
