Yeah also you sold them to my shop not me directly I guess I forgot that part.

The last round of work I did to my car, with all the custom suspension mods and such, really transformed it into something quite special.

Well, I ended up picking up a used set last night. Not quite as great a deal as what wa on eBay but not too bad.

If anyone ever sees a set of these with buy it now for $2500, don't be an idiot like I was. Click the buy it now button. Don't bid $2200 hoping to save a few bucks.

Yeah, I really did lose out on that one. I didn't know much about Champion wheels at the time and should really have hit that Buy It Now button. Didn't realize what a steal they were at $2500.

Glad they went to a good home though. I ended up picking these up just a couple days ago and actually paid the same price you ended up at with shipping included so I'm happy. Just not exactly the color I wanted:

nice find. i think that ur color is nicer then the black. black with polished lip gets old...

 

I appreciate that, it is different for sure. And I'm ok with different. I actually plan on wrapping my car Matte White, so this color might accent that well. Otherwise I can always go black. But it would be all black, I'm not a huge fan of polished ANYTHING.

Good find. I think those look nicer than the black with polished lip personally. Different look to them for sure!

The Champion wheels REALLY are that nice. I've just received my new ADV.1's for my car and I'm on the fence about even selling my RG5's. I just love them that much. They are really worth what you pay for them.

Congrats! - Be sure to post pictures of them mounted; I'd love to see what they look like in that grey.

I hope to have a set of ADV.1's someday. Just hard to justify dropping 8K on wheels right now. My wife doesn't even know I bought new intercooles, K16billets, and injectors!!

 

I think the ones you ended up getting a way better looking set of wheels then the ones you lost out on. The black with polished lip just do not look good to me. I usually do not like wheels with lips at all but your new grey wheels do look good.

 

I wanted these or the RS171's which are similar but with no lip. I've just always has wheels with a lip......so I focused on these.

I know Fabryce with GMG has a set of RS171's he emailed me about. I think he said $3200 which is a decent price if anyone is interested.
