Oh, he'll hear you much better now :-) I get a lot of positive comments from neighbors - even a local business told me he loves hearing me get on the highway every morning and he is 1/2 mile before the on ramp and indoors at his desk. That's the WOT wail he is hearing. I never thought anyone in that location would ever hear my car.... Although we call it the 2.5 "quiet", it's light years from the OEM exhaust and really wails at WOT. With windows down at WOT in a tunnel or under a bridge, when it hits the higher RPM's, it can be painful to the ears. The beauty of the 2.5 is that it's only like that if you want it to be...otherwise it's sporty, but not over the top. Nice mix...

I really like your exhaust, I hope you can get a hold of a 997 GT2 and design an exhaust, i would buy one in a heartbeat. Im having trouble finding exhaust for my GT2 for reasonable money. They are all from 7k USD and up when it gets to sweden. There are of course many shops here selling, but its about the same price.

We recently revised the video of our 3" X-Pipe with some brand new bumper mounted track footage...

 

I have the Speedtech 2.5" "quiet" exhaust.

I get quite a few compliments on the sound.

Today a pickup pulled up next to me at a light in town and told me the sound was amazing.

He was surprised to hear all I had done was switch out the exhaust.

He thought I'd done a lot more to the car.

 

We had a chance to install our 2.5 X-Pipe and capture some video this past Friday, just before a snowfall Friday night! It looks like it was the last good day of the season here - in the video, you can see snow in the mountains in the background, but now it's everywhere with another 3" today...anyhow, this is our 2.5" X-Pipe system, not to be confused with the 2.5 "quiet" X-cellerator internal X-Flow muffler system which has our "internal X" at the core of the "X-design" muffler.

The 2.5 X-Pipe has no mufflers, just smooth 2.5" pipe and has our 100 cell cats, although it's also available as a catless "RACE" system, as well. The sound is about 7/10 of our 3.0 X-Pipe (which is very aggressive and a fantastic sounding system). Drone is truly minimal to non existant, especially for sound of this magnitude. The 2.5 X-Pipe is perfect for someone that wants an aggressive sounding system, but still wants to be able to sneak around without drawing full attention, provided they institute judicial use of the throttle.

IMO, it takes the edge off of what I would consider a wild exotic type sound (SpeedTech 3.0 X-Pipe, F430, Gallardo) and tunes it down a notch to extremely sporty, just a shade shy of the louder, raw exotic cars like the F430 - and it sounds absolutely fantastic! Take a look at the video below and decide for yourself...

Just shipped a 2.5" version of our incredible sounding 996TT competition X-Pipe system this week. The 2.5 is a little less raw/aggressive than the full 3.0" model, but still exhibits a truly exotic, aggressive sound that is truly phenomenal to hear in person. Anyone that hears these X-Pipes, regardless of what type of car they drive, are always extremely impressed and have great things to say about the sound!
