Seems cause EB Works is no longer a vendor they pulled the post.
40 pages and 220+ members had signed up for something they have wanted for years.
Seems pretty weak as its the forum members that make the site work, NOT the vendors. If we all left so would your vendors.
This post should be reinstated and allowed to continue.
Slider your efforts were greatly appreciated. If you move this to another site please let all of us know.

Sorry guys. I'm /was the former ebwerks vendor. I sponsored the rear lights thread because I thought it was the right thing to do and I was not getting anything free. Not even a discount. I always said i'm a member before a sponsor. EBwerks is just my hobby not my FTE.

That said, I did give slider a few weeks in advance that I was ending my sponsorship. Hopefully a current sponsor can pick up "sponsoring" the thread and bring it back up. However it is BS from IB from deleting something that members want. They have no business intelligence. The more active # members on a forum is what sells to bring vendor to pay sponsorship.

There is no more blatantly commercial and manipulated site.

They've determined that there are many many possible users and they have no need to retain members, just get noobs to click and buy.

Once you understand that their decisions are driven by petty rules and dollars, with a layer of claptrap about 'communiy' and members, it is easy to move on. I feel sad for a few good mods that understand how their good efforts have been squandered by the blight that is IB.

First and for most 6Speed is a business and the owner of IB is not a Porsche enthusiast. Even if he was the smell of money soon trumps enthusiasm almost all the time; especially when you look at all the problems and crap the owner and moderators have to deal with. If it is not certain vender's crying like Adult-olescent babies about something it will be regular members bagging and crying about IB....

Well if this is such a good PR thing then why has not one of the other many vender's to the right of this thread jumped on it... BECAUSE THERE IS NO MONEY IN IT FOR THEM....

Enrique, how much is your basic vendor package worth for 6 months. I have $10 to wards that and $10 times 200+ would easily pay it I am sure. Anyone else want to anti up, I would rather Enrique get something out of this over some other Vendor.....

pretty unimpressed with this. I thought this site provided an opportunity for likeminded porsche owners to share ideas and options to improve their cars via access to other such individuals that collectively might achieve something.....such as getting 997 style LED taillights for their 996 C4S.
Clearly this is not the aim of this site. I now have no idea how I will ever achieve such a thing or finding a company that might do it for a reasonable price useless a group got together.
Pity really, as this site had great potential to provide power to individuals to really achieve things.
