IMO, the intake splitter should be painted, otherwise, you can't tell it's there. BTW, how much is the CF intake splitter? And can you have it painted?

We can paint them if preferred, but these are fab'd out of carbon, they are not plastic wrapped with cf. The small visible edge is gloss black, and is quite visible when installed. The carbon is visible enough too.

Another option: leave them carbon, and paint the leading edge (which is black standard) to the body color of the car. Add $75.

 

Crap, I love black exterior pieces on my red/black crusade. I've been too busy adding red inside and now this. From what I'm reading in this thread is glue really how this mounts?
