Tubi vs. Europipe

Originally I was all set to order the Europipe Loud but after speaking to my dealer they are pushing me to purchase the Tubi exhaust. The dealer is saying that it is a lighter unit with a more exotic sound with the same power?

Anyone have experience with the Tubi?

I would guess that it is Champion you are speaking to. They have an exclusive to sell Tubi therfore its the only exhaust they sell. Ask them to provide you with a dyno sheet, and they will say they do not have one. They Tub makes noise and from what I have heard thats about it. If you are willing to go for loud like the Tubi go for Fabspeed which makes the most power of any exhaust.

I can only speak for Tubi on the NSX. I have one and it is an amazing sounding exhaust from the outside of the car but quiet on the inside of the car. I am not sure how the 996 TT version compares.

One thing about the Tubi on the NSX is the fit is not that great. Not sure how the 996TT version fits.

I have heard the Tubi at my dealership, I was there when they were installing one and the quality on it is very nice, the sound is extremely dissapointing, IMO it is not worth the $4500 they get for it, I think the Fabspeed is well made and great sounding, so far so good.

go onto hobbystage.net/porsche and do a search. there is a clip of a tubi there. I agree with the rest of the guys, if you want performance and sound, go with a fabspeed.

Someone on the board has a brand new Tubi for sale for around $3,200. Check the For Sale section.
