OBX catted exhaust

Has anyone installed this OBX catted exhaust system? It is extremely cheap compared to all the other systems out there and I am curious how it sounds and performs.

I personally I have not heard or seen anything about this exhaust. It doesn't look bad...Is there a web site so you can check specs out on it?
I might be selling my Milltek soon for a good price...

Thanks for asking, I saw this on ebay as well. I've seen mixed reviews about their headers. Someone should pick this up and do a review for the group.

I think you're better off stock! For $399 I just can't see getting a quality product with R&D to back it up.

Here are a few of the listed specs.

- Inlet Diameter: 3.4"OD/3.1"ID
- Outlet Diameter: 2.4"OD/2.3"ID
- Flange Thickness: 0.4"
- Cat Body: 5.0"OD
- Dual TIG weld
- Mandrel Bent
- T304 Stainless Steel

No specs are listed for the catalytic convertor and this is where a lot of costs would be.

Later, Steve

Thanks Steve..
But if you look at the picture ,,the bigger tapper out of the cats goes down to the ID size of the exhaust outlet on the muffler inlet,,, much like the Milltek set- up..

Me thinks that is a 997tt exhaust. Look at the way the outlet pipe comes out on top. Can't be upside down, look at the o2 bungs.

Yeah, only says this:
Cat Body : 5.0" OD
200 Cell Catalytic Converter

Likely not super expensive cats based on the price. I made custom 3" turbo back systems on cars a long time ago when they weren't readily available (4 cyl imports, DSM Honda etc) using cheap $100 cats and they worked perfectly well to be honest, lasted forever too. Some of the DSM's were making 400whp and all the exhaust was through 1 cat, not 2 like on our cars.
