Not sure if I like it now that it is in...your thoughts?

Stock ones were getting ugly, wanted a bit more contrast to the sea of gray.

I like it. The black blends in and will certainly stay cleaner looking. My 2001 has deviated carpet - the interior is black except for the floor and door carpet is gray. Currently the floor mats are black and I've been kicking around the idea of buying red ones to match my seatbelts.

Why not buy two or three sets of different colored mats and switch them up from time to time? That's what I have it iand t's nice for a change of pace every now and then. Plus it extends the life of the mats!

 

I saw the first pic and thought, no that's too much, didn't realise it was the before. Then seeing the after first thought was, that's way better.

My car is midnight blue with grey interior I have blue Porsche mats and aftermarket grey with turbo in dark blue and switch them around. I like the black in yours.

Black is the way to go. I have black seats in my grey interior and it looks much better than the grey seats did.

 

I think it looks great! I got tired of seeing the dirt/mud on my savannah beige mats and decided to go the black route. There are enough black trim pieces to offset the contrast and it blends in well in my opinion.
