Montescew is infamous around these parts
Cel: P1411

Hi Guys:

I own a low mileage 2001 TT that is throwing a P1411 code.

I am aware this is a Secondary Air Injection issue, I did validate that the air pump is functioning on start up. Was not too sure where to look next? Can someone provide some insight or DIY link that might help me out here.

Thank You!!

I had the same problem. I changed my diverter valves and it went away. I used 710n VW diverter valves.

Thanks Robert, the diverter valve definitely seems like a place to start and have read about this generally being the culprit. Did you have to drop the engine to replace? Any DIY?

Thanks Again!
