My wife is pregnant with our first child... I am 27 years old, make $80k a year tax free and can afford to dump 80k into a used 2001-02 porsche turbo but the wife says I should hold off and pay my student loans ($50k). I live in Germany and experience the autobahn every day with my 350z. I mean **** I drive 135 mph to work and its legal! BUT the problem is that I want my dream car a 996TT.

haha, i say GET IT! Nothing like enjoying your money while your young...but promise that you'll start taking care of your loans right afterwords...but hell what do i know...i'm still single

I only wish jewelry could solve this but my wife is one of those practical types... she spends money only on **** she thinks is useful and a Porsche is not "useful." I am thinking that I will make a dent in my student loans and then get the car. I only wish that I made double my salary but then is there ever such a thing as enough money? cheers to the lafs
