what's the point of sending a PRIVATE message if you're going to post that you did in the forum??

 

Lots of people don't check their PMs very often. Plus Buddy gets one more on his post count.

 

Exactamundo! If you don't have your pm's set to email you and don't check your pm's alot of times you never know you have pm's.

Offroad you sound a bit irratated is there a problem???

if the person who you are trying to contact doesnt have the 'open window when someone is sending you a PM' option on or doesnt have the 'email notification default' which is an email that gets sent when you have a PM, then that person may never even look at his PM box unless he somehow clicks on the user cp panel.....so if someone on here doesnt want to email the person or wants to wait till the person opens their PM box they wil post here.........it also is a good excuse to boost your post count

 

You can also just set the PM's to pop up when received. That way anytime you come to the forum or refresh your screen it will let you know you have PM's without having to check your email...
