The Pennsylvania Trip to Meet BuddyG
We met just off Route 78 in Pennsylvania to head down to meet BuddyG who, as I am sure you know, was in town. I figured we may as well make an event out of it so I planned a route. The route used some tried and true roads from previous drives as well as some new ones. Well, that is where the fun ended!
Much to our chagrin, one of the roads we (I) chose to drive on was recently paved, albeit very poorly. I am sure we each collected a vast amount of macadam aggregate in the various nooks and crannies in our respective cars.
After that little debacle, which lasted for about a mile, and a few more twists and turns, we arrived at a local glider port (airport for gliders). I figured it was a good time to grab a few pictures and take a break in the 103 degree heat of the day.
Here are a few of the pictures…………..

The cars from left to right are Vipertestarossa, Raudell, KPV and TME.
We left the glider port and proceeded down to New Hope, PA where we met up with Buddy, Jeremy from PES and Winslow from PES. A few more arrived after that and we had a great time! It was great to see everyone.
Buddy, I hope the car issues are resolved and you are happily motoring home at this point.

Oh Ken,
How I wish I was happily motoring home. They got the new computer in and the flash was succesful. I pulled up to PES and the car was running. I was hopeful. They went for a test drive and found a severe boost leak. I arrived at PES at 12:30pm and they worked until 4pm trying to find out what was causing the boost leak. To no success. I am now sitting at the Marriott hotel at the Philly airport typing in this message. They are going to try to change out the wastegates tommorrow, but I had a family trip planned which I have to leave for tommorrow at 10 am. So I am flying out at 8am in the morning without my car. This is so frustrating!
