No sweat Bob, I usually get: Clove, Clod, Cliff, Clive, Clevage, Cleophus, ****, etc.

I've driven cars with multiple disc metalic racing clutches and straight cut gear boxes with dog-ring engagement...I don't think this set up will be anywhere near that extreme. The fact that you can slip the discs is key (organic material). I am aware that the lightweight flywheel/clutch package will feel different, but it should not be that hard to get used to...I hope.

bringing this thread back from the dead,,,,

couple of questions for you ; first off is this a pull type clutch setup like the original or does it include a conversion to push style setup?

second, how do you like it after driving it for a while ?

and last, what's that shiny cylindrical thing in the top of the picture?

what are the chances you will get response from a 13 year old thread lol?

tilton is a push style clutch not a pull, it does include the hydraulic bearing to convert.

Cleve is local to me but is out of Porsches now. Last I saw he built a 700 or 800 whp e39 m5 with a jdm motor in it. He likes quirky type cars. You might find him on Facebook or a BMW board.

Steve Ott, from driver source in Houston Texas builds incredible clutches and Porsches. I think he’s in the process of building a 1600 twin turbo charged GT3
