My Differences in Dyno Numbers
If that is true I wonder how much more HP the Milltek would make WITH OUT CATS to be a fair comparision to the Milltek?
I would love to find this out, being the power level you are at, many including myself is at. I would love to see what HP these X pipes POSSIBLY might be holding back, being these cars have enough TQ.
The Fabspeed seams to be a straight X as it rams into each other and would wonder how much difference it would be for the X pipes that just merge or slightly touch i.e. EBWERKS etc. Get the best of the sound of the X pipe and flow of non merge.
Thanks

Just so I am reading this straight. Your new CATLESS Fabspeed 2.75 X pipe, made the same hp as a CATTED 2.75" NON X pipe Milltek?!!

The Ebwerks made about 20whp and 20wtq using 250 cell cats vs 100 cell cats on a milltek. This test was done on a stock (other then exhaust) 997turbo. It was done by a third party, i was not part of it. I'll see if I can dig up the dyno graphs that were sent to me by the customer. pm me your email

that is why, when jon posted for vendors whom make exhaust to send him one and he will buy it if it made more power, I was not concern at ALL. I knew for a fact ebwerks was going to make more power, specially since he was looking for a catless.

I wonder how much that power was because of the 3" of the EBWERKS vs 2.75" of the Milltek?
Then again the 20HP gain was on a stock 997Turbo so I can't seeing the sizw being that much of a restriction. Now at 600+AWHP I can see just the sizing picking up 20HP.
Thanks

Are you saying that the EBWERKS made 20HP MORE WITH a 250CELL OVER a Miltek with ONLY a 100CELL CATS?

Bobby look at the picture of the Fabspeed,, it doesn't ram the 2 banks together.. Thats why I went with it..
And yes I might be better off taking the cats off the Milltek if this system is to loud for me.

If anyone wants to text me there email address, I will email you the graphs because that's where I have them on my phone until I get home later.
I am not a high knowledge computer person.. LOL
I just posted them on a new comparison thread ..

I have the EbWerks exhaust on my car and I'd love to see if the "X" it crossover truly kills HP vs straight pipes. I wondered if I could have the X section rebuilt with a exhaust cut out in the middle where the two chambers connect. This would allow me to hit a switch and open up the X for better sound but then also be able to close off the X for true straight pipes. This would also allow me/us to do some very quick dyno comparisons to see if the X or crossover effects HP/TQ.
Sound crazy?

Most people dyno in 3rd gear as that's about all the fan they have. 3rd gear is about 108-113mph, depending on your redline. Most fans in a dyno room are not blowing 100+ mph air. As has been said, you will be heatsoaking pulling that long.
They are indeed a heartbreaker! I am making over 650 on dyno dynamics here..I wonder what that would be in the US. I do my pulls in 4th.
Pulls in 3rd or 4th are fine.
