Took my car to the Drivers Source here in Houston - BHT's recommendation. Originally, all I wanted was an oil change and alignment. It ended up with the oil change and hunting boost leaks followed by a dyno then a detail. They did a great job on all fronts.

 

Any chance you can post a exhaust clip? I am look at a EVOMS tune and AWE, TUBI or Fabspeed set up

Boost leak? What was it?

 

Yes, a boost leak. Actually a few. No big deal, the shop found them and sealed her up. Strangely, the exhaust is quieter now. However, boost is now .9 to 1.0 bar at peak on my display. It was .7/.8. My butt senses no differences. . How's your 997TT?

 

You feel the power difference? 997tt is a different animal. The 996tt felt faster and lighter. Haven't driven much.. But with the sport mode on the 997tt, it is quicker. Got rear ended in the GFs BMW 2 weeks. Came to a stop and some idiot slams into me at 40+. So those sport seats are a little too snug for the back. I'm glad your TT is back to its potential.

 

I'm glad you're ok after being rear ended. But very glad it was in the BMW. LOL. I hope to have a 997TT in four or so years. Keep it clean for me. I don't feel the difference, but it runs quieter.
