RUF Front Bumper
RUF Front Bumper
Recently upgraded the front end with the RUF front bumper, so far I am loving the look. It was a bit of labor to make the conversion work with all the proper ducting which is fully functional.... see below for some half assed photos. In a few weeks I will do a shoot with the car for some high quality pics. Threw the tow hook in there for some flavor but I know its not for everyone.

LiNKS, what ducts did you have to replace, just the side two or middle as well. Did you have to do the middle radiator slant like the GT2?
Thanks, replaced the 2 side ducts, center duct, and the duct that runs down between the hood and bumper like the GT2. I also changed the pan underneath
Thanks man good seeing you sunday. Going to get those seats in my car hopefully this weekend and I should be good to go for the summer
Much appreciated I looked up your threads at least a dozen times in the process

This will be far cheaper than an OEM GT2 front end which is much more common so in my opinion takes away from the wow factor. I think the RUF front end with all the ducts etc retails for about $3.5k from RUF AUTO US in Michigan. You'll pay over $8k for and OEM GT2 full kit with all the ducts. So right there you have a $4500 savings. Labor of both should be equivalent.
Looks great but I guess you could say I'm a little biased.
I really think this is a superior design compared to the GT2 bumper due to the fact that the RUF also has a fully functioning built in splitter which plays a big role in added downforce. The only drawback is that you have to be extra careful with damage to it since there is no lip to replace. Mine has been on my car since 2006 with no issues with frequent track use including a bird strike. Lol! Because its PU its very resilient. I'd recommend a clear bra. Did you use the GT2 front fender liners or the TT stockers?
