Question Roock Exhaust ???

Anyone have any experience or info. on the Roock exhaust system ? It seems like a high quality exhaust system without the droning.

I've read that the Fabspeed has the best flow, but is too Loud and has an annoying droning at about 2400 rpms.

Any recomendations ?

If I remember this right, at one point in time Europipe used to make the system for them? I think that's the case as I've seen a couple that look sooo similair. Post a pic if you can.

Thanks for the reply Shark. Here is a link to a pic. Its a pic. of their project car, but not of the actual exhaust. For the time being there is no photo of the exhaust system on their website.

Roock the crook!! Buyer beware, they never refunded me $2K after I returned a set of wheels to them after Fabian & Neil both promised me a full refund.

Don't trust them. Chances they are having someone else manufacturer the product for them.

Be careful!

We have an exhaust system that we chose to carry because of the fact that it didn't resonate at low RPM's in the 996TT cabs. It is a full stainless steel system and has all the same warranties and things that a top of the line exhaust system should have. It utilizes a 200 cell cat, will reduce weight, and add power. Sorry to sound like an infomercial. We really stand by these systems, and we fortunately have one in stock. If you want more info PM me and I will give you a deal....

Hard to tell from that pic but in the old days they were using Europipe to do the exhausts but with 200 cell cats if I remember right. Obviously with Europipe making their own stuff now, Roock uses the Superspring, otherwise known as the Tech Art. I think that one does have some resonance to it.

I emailed europipe when I saw a Roock muffler on Ebay. "These exhaust have 4 stock catalytic convertors so that they would comply with the stringent German exhaust gas regulations.
They give about 5 - 8 hp increase on a stock 996 Turbo."

Thanks for all the replies guys. I'll have to post the specs. of his exhaust, but I do know that it has a 100 cell cat in it.

Will get the rest of the specs. BTW..........his price is $5400 for the exhaust system.

Sharkster is right about EP making exhausts for Rook. The Supersprint a.k.a Techart systems are very good. I have driven with both sport muffler and race muffler set ups. Very little if any resonance I found. Only thing I find bad is that Supersprint is not cheap. The turbo exhaust from MILLITEK is one of the best I have tested. For the $$$$, good power, sound and no REZZZZZZZZ. Worth considering. Because alot of Shop/Tuners are buying what ever is available right now. And with almost all of Europe on vacation, the wait time is just a killer.

Techart has terminated their contract with Supersprint for over a year now. They opted to go to the Far East to make their systems to save some money. Have heard that the quality of the product is veeery iffy. It would have been smarter to go to the Eastern Block of Europe like some companies do. Their you know you have a 50/50 shot of something decent at a cheap price.
