As Cowtown10 suggested I would buy a gravity tester and check strength for piece of mind, they can be bought at most auto parts stores.

Hi All,

Does anyone have a link to the procedure to refill the coolant? I need to replace my radiators.

Thanks,

Franny

Any thoughts on the Geba replacement water pump? It uses a metal impeller instead of plastic and is cheaper than the OEM unit.

My assumption was the metal impeller would not fail/break, but other users have told me the plastic is the safer bet for the motor.

OMG this pump was completely destroyed!!!! May be you should think about flushing your system to get the missing parts out! Plus a good look at your thermostat is also a must….

Ok, I'm doing this now, just lowered my engine and suddenly coolant started leaking from the seals next to the coolant drain plugs.

I'm assuming that isn't normal but coming from both sides.

Any help appreciated.

Also, the water pump is definitely bad, and there is definitely a leak from here, not trickling down from anywhere else.

Thanks! That’s exactly the info I needed.

Doing this water pump isn’t half as bad as the thermostat….man, those bolts are tough to get to!
