Anyone ever modify their spoiler switch to be a manual up/manual down only? Basically, I don't want my spoiler to automatically extend, ever. If I do have it extended, I would like to retract it regardless of what speed I'm traveling. Unpossible?

I've seen that. Not what I'm looking for. I want to be able to extend or retract the rear wing on command. Not when Porsche thinks I need to.

 

Of course you can use the button on the dash to extend or retract the wing whenever you want to. It will not disable the automatic function though. I'll bet JP will have an idea of which fuse or relay to pull to prevent the automatic operation....if it is possible at all.

 

Once it is up, it will not retract until you drop below 40 mph IIRC. I'd just like it to stay down when I'm cruising the highway at 75.

 

Mine can be manually moved at any speed.

 

Manually moved down?? Mine will go up manually whenever I want, but will not retract until under 40 mph. It automatically goes up at 73 mph.

 

Yes manually mine can move either way whenever...It goes up at ~75 and down ~37 automatically. I can retract it after it goes up automatically,

 

given the capriciousness of the system, i'd think twice before messing with that switch any more than i needed to.
