Testing the waters for a group buy on upgraded MAF

For the guys that want to upgrade to the 986 MAF that is more robust they retail for 353.02. I am betting I could get my Porsche guy to help us out and send them out the door for 269.00. So my question is this....any interest in that? We did a similar thing for the 993TT guys recently.

Sounds good man!!!! Let's just get everyone off the ****tier 996 ones. The 986 ones seem to work a lot better- plus they're cheaper

West Coast guys step on up

Count me in on the 986 MAF group buy!!! I would also like one of the new oil-less V-Flow filters, if you have any in stock Stephen???

BTW, the graphics on your new avatar and 6speed ad are great Stephen!

Count me in, eventhough my MAF has been replaced recently.

As long as I can drop it in on a stock ECU'd TT w/o any modifcations, I'll probably be in.

I'll get one too. Todd has told me that he has already installed one in my car but I'll get another one as a back up.

Uh, I guess you better sign me up too. Just put one on my car while you have it, but only if we don't have to wait for one.

Does it flow any more air or is it just more durable. Any power increase or not. Will a stage 1 or 2 program communicate with it ok?

MAF=Mass Air Flow meter...tells the computer air temp, density, etc. I think I'm correct...Stephen

It's a sensor that reads in the amount of air into the system so that it can add fuel for a proper A/F ratio.
