PSM/ABS Light
Thx ya This little MAF sensor is the biggest pain in the butt on the cars. LOL
I win one hundred million internet points!
I am still having this issue even after I had a Porsche Indy shop read the code. Said it was the front passenger abs sensor so I purchased one and to be on the safe side the brake pedal switch too. Drove for 30 miles and all of a sudden the abs kicked in as I was coming to a stop
I was only going 5mph, and then not long after as I was cruising both ABS and PSM lights came on.
Going to another shop this time and see what code they pull but this is getting annoying.

Definitely have the codes read again. A good code reader will pick up a code if it is the MAF.
If it points out the wheel speed sensor again, it could be the wiring harness that is damaged; one of the other causes of this annoying error.

. One seller has sold 10 at $50.
If this is your first MAF to replace , use the Bosch unit and you'll won't have to question whether what you replaced was questionable. This is pretty inexpensive of a part that is pretty critical to keep your vehicle running well, why compromise.
There's a whole thread out there about the remanufacturered MAF or the generic non Bosch unit out there. One member swears by them , many others have bad taste in their mouth. I am in the process of going to the hitachi MAF and happen to have both a good Bosch unit (which came out of vehicle) and an aftermarket (never used). You can find either unit on Amazon for very reasonable price.

so it could easily be me.thing is.. my car has hybrids and a 1.2 tune and sometimes when i'm watching the road and not the tach
i peg the rev limiter ( which is raised to 7200rpm ) and when i do, the increased voltage spike will fry the maf. if and when that happens ( twice ) i buy the one on ebay for 75 bucks and it works perfectly fine for me until i peg the limiter again.i feel that after cpl of tt's and a few mafs over these last few years, i have kinda found what "works" for me and the car vs what "doesn't", vis a vis saving money. so..refurbbed mafs, yes.. cheap tires, no.
others' mileage may of course vary.
that sounds like good advice. but also i'm pretty sure i'm the member that uses the $75 refurbbed maf with success. at least i get called a member often
so it could easily be me.
