RACE VIDS inside: TSS Media Day Shoot
The Texas Speed Syndicate folks had some of the racers come to test at the airport this weekend. The point was to grab some media (photos and vids) for future promotion of the next event in the Spring of 2014. I decided to swap back to my .63 hot sides on my HTA3586's for better/quicker spool and hoped for a higher trap speed. The races are from a 60mph roll and acceleration on Saturday was set at 1450ft. Which happened to be identical to the last event that was held there this spring. Shut down was 1800ft.
Photog Dave Stevens was there. A film crew was there shooting some cool footage as well. I was trapping 170+ in 1400ft.

I raced 3 cars.
1. C6 Grandsport Vette with 900rwhp
2. C6 Corvette with a big blower making 1100rwhp
3. Viper on turbos making 1200rwhp

Second race with Viper.

I like the taller tires for the events that I participate in. I can get 153mph in 4th gear with these tires.
