Group Buy on NEW-STYLE MAF's for Twin Turbos/GT2s

Are you saying that lower HP cars, which are less likely to damage the MAF, should upgrade to the 986 MAF, but higher HP cars that are more likely to damage the MAF should NOT change to the 986 MAF??? Is this suggestion the result of problems arising when the 986 MAFs are used in higher HP cars???
What does the software update do??? Does the update write over the existing ECU program?
Thanks Alex,
Craig

I'd already talked to Stephen in Email about it... No we're saying below stage IV should get the regular ones... any of the higher HP ones are a-ok. We've put them on stock cars and then the dealer updates the software for it and it runs great.

It is actually the lower end kits and stock that are not crossing over well. The upper kits have been ok..so far.
