Those silver things on the headlights

What are those and where can I buy one? It flew off while driving the other day.

I just had my passenger side blow off this week, poor design..
Need to source a new/used one too..

Makes sense as I have never used mine and they are perfect.

I never use them...unless they automatically go up when cleaning the windshield.

they will only go up if you "clean" the windshield with the stalk activating the nozzle(s) which is not "automatic". ergo, you are "using" them if you pull the lever. i never knew they moved until one flew over my windshield. i suppose we can use them when the car is stationary though i refuse to try.

Wouldn't be great if someone made a plug for these? you could just remove them and not have to worry about it.
something like a bumperplug thingy

just replaced mine a week or two ago, should disconnect the headlight washer function so it doesn't accidentally happen again...
