DIY for pulling MAF ?

Question DIY for pulling MAF ?

I've never pulled my MAF......what's the 1,2,3 or has someone posted a pic before?.........TIA.

1. Unplug it - push the flat sides of the plug together. It should make a little clicking noise. Then pull plug off of maf.

2. You will need a special little wrench to get the 2 screws out. The EVO intake comes with this tool. I don't know where to get it otherwise.

3. Pull out the MAF. Using a little trist back and forth while pulling works good.

4. Applying a little gob to the "O" ring of the new MAF before tristing it back/forth into the air tube is helpful, although I'm not sure gob is the correct lube to use

5. Put in the 2 screws (don't over tighten) and connect the wire back up.

Thanks...........OE air box removal required 1st?.....the 2 screws or torx?

You can leave the airbox in. torx is the ticket.

OK.....so it is not behind the air box, apparently is easily accessable.......and the 2 screws that hold it in are not a standard torx size ?
