Nice numbers!

One request....would you please ask your tuner (Todd?) what is the reason for that dip in Hp/Tq curve at 6k RPM.
-something about manifolds?
-something about cams/timing?
It's not specific to your car -just comes out clearly, but more or less generic for 996/7 turbos...

umm look at the air fuel ratio

not gonna sugar coat it, that graph worries me (both power and A/F graphs actually).

Hopefully that wide band they used is NOT accurate or working properly!!
If I am reading properly 13.1 up top, that is trouble....especially if you do a long pull!

Even with meth you want to be under 12, especially with smaller turbos running that type of boost, power & the heat it is generating per boost compared to a larger turbo. If it was a 3076 or 35 turbo maybe 11.8-12 MAX (I would still look to 11.5-11.7), but with the A28's at that boost/power 11.5's.

Hope fully there wide band is in need of servicing and they are using a separate closer tap in bung for the reading.

Thanks

Bobby Ali

Car definitely ran lean on the dyno, working through it right now. It could be one of three things, not enough fuel, high enough octane or in need of recalibration of the tune. Will run some c16 and see if anything changes. Most likely running out of fuel, I am on stock fuel with in line 044 and 80lb injectors.

He says it's a combination of wheel spin and the 996tt manifold.

Congrats Orbello! The 3.8 conversion is def good for 40 hp / 40 torque and I suspect
more on a proper setup like yours! I'm now 3.8 and it makes a very noticeable
difference.

You are definitely maxing the turbos out but it's a testament to what they can do.

btw, I ran a 5.35 60-130 on a28s........I had a lot of supporting mods but not as

much as you. The a28s are BADASS and def underrated as far as potential. It's nice

seeing someone showing the potential of these turbos.

With that much money spent on that build , I can't beleive you kept those sh1ty intake manifolds on there ..

And with a 30k + engine build your running a basic bottom of the barrel inline pump only? That is scary , as your afr's shows

unv, I have done two other dyno runs on this car without this dip, see attached sheets. One was on stock motor @ bbi and the other was on a true dyno dynamic at Gintani, however my fuel pressure regulator was disconnect so the car was acting up. I never had an issue with this sh1ty manifold so I saw no reason to change it. Just so were clear, my manifold is a custom 996TT manifold built from aluminum(see pictures). I got this mainfold cause I was hearing a lot of guys blowing motors due to the plastic particles coming off the manifold and ending up in the motor from 100% meth injection and race gas mixture.

I never imagined that the Alpha 28's were going to be capable of making this kind of power, I believe this sets a new record for Alpha 28's. Last I checked this power level is 3076 territory. That being said, I have bottom of the barrel fueling cause that's all that was needed to make 700whp on Alpha 28's, which was the limit all tuners have put on these turbos. But don't worry, I do have a complete fuel system sitting in the garage which is going support 1,200whp

The dip I believe is mainly from wheel spin, however the lean line is cause of fueling...

I appreciate you envying my 996tt... stay tuned for more result.

Layinback, thanks brotha... These turbos are alot of fun, low end, mid range and even up top. It takes some getting used to cause of the torque hit... Burned through alot of tires to finally understand how to drive and what size tires to use. I saw your 60-130, great numbers man... I will hopefuly get out and log some 60-130 once I fix my fueling issue then its off to bigger things

Only when I warm up the tries with one burnout or after a long canyon run it hooks in second... I run 265x35x19(don't like them) in the front and 345x30x19 Hoosier R6 only... I have tried every other tire and this is the only thing that works with my style of driving (drag, high speed and canyon)
