Yes, Duanes Yellow Turbo (now sold) was fast but no comparison to my former GT2, and Xico's turbo. Witnesses saw Xico pulling hard on his turbo.

 

Still doesn't make sense to me but you can always pm me the best time you have run and I will swear to secrecy.

I bet the reason CJV doesn't want anyone to know his time is because once you know what it will do then anything slower won't race it. I know CJV has a ton of money in his car and should only jeapordize parts if serious cash or bragging rights are on the line. Mostly cash. It's that way over here at Jackson, SC dragstrip. NO ONE shows their time if their car is fast. Many races are for 5k and up believe it or not. Now these cars are drag cars with slicks, wheelie bars etc. Most of these guys run the 1/8 mile also. I'm talking about cars that run in the low 4's at over 170 mph in the 1/8 mi. These guys want money not bragging rights. Bottom line the element of surprise is ALWAYS in your favor. Especially if you have something wicked. My guess is that his car is in the nine's. If its in the 8's then that is SMOKING fast. Either way kudos Chad and give it hell.

 

Bad for business?? Are you financing your $400k+ project through street racing for cash? Is that the "business" to which you refer? Do you really hope to raise capital by surprising some uninformed dolt who might otherwise not race you because they gathered intel from your post here? I don't get it?

You have already repeatedly trumpeted your 0-60 time. Moreover, you allowed Excellence to publish a 1/4 mile time. You regularly post the details of your ongoing project. Yet, you will not post your prior 1/4 mile time on your old set-up . . . an obsolete time that reveals nothing about what your new set-up will be capable of. Like Buddy, I fail to understand why it is that you have elected to withhold this information -- particularly in light of your repeated statements that all other times pale in comparison.

He ran a mid 11, thats his best. No secret about it. The 0-60 time is from a g tech, which ive run 0-60 in 1.X before in my old stock 993. It can be totally off..

Dude.. I did.. the EVO set up was so fricking sweet. 30psi.. your car would have likely pulled away from mine but then been pulled in by 130 or so.. I saw likely but...

Duane's turbo is NOT sold... and there is a thread on another forum that stated that Duane pulled XICO.. not that it matters... They both fast cars.

Also GT2's don't count and should not be on the list with TT's... They don't carry the same baggage so it's apples to oranges....

 

GT2's dont count? Might wanna ask GIAC why they share the same programs then.

Like I said, Frank (with the black GT2, and others) SAW XICO pull on DUane hard on the highway. Of course Duane's car is fast. I've driven it, and its probably one of the hottest turbos as well....infact i had to use it in Imagine Auto and Carnewal's intro and its all over 6speed too.

 

Yo Craig... chill man... that fastest KA has gone is up and down on a lift, and it doesn't go a 1/4 mile...
