Chad,
That's cool I can wait until then and I will be very excited to found out! When this is all done what will your next project be! Carrera GT?
Another 100 ponies sure would be sweet in that thing!

We were in an experimental stage with the intake and actually lost about 35 hp. It was extreme hot and there was a strong head wind. For May 2003 and the conditions it was a very good time.
People like TT996 remind me of a frustrated freeloader. They don't understand that the 996tt platform has only arrived at where it is today because people experiment. There are successes and there are failures. All they can do is make fun and complain. Where was TT996 in 2001, 2002 and 2003 when 400, 500 and 600 hp were each milestones. I'm sure the pace will continue but at a slower progression. Or maybe we have attained the ideal power bands already.
I guess this is why I didn't post my times anymore. I will say this, my current motor experiment will be my last with the 996tt platform, good bad or indifferent. When it is completed I will post the times and that will be the end of it. I really don't care what people like TT996 have to say. It really doesn't make any difference.

Well, Chad, tell SCGo to hurry up... don't want to run out of crude oil on Earth by the time it's finished... stoke the fire under their asses! Some of the fastest street cars with 6spd manuals are Supras and Vipers... let's get a Porsche in the mix during our life time!

Some European tuners have converted GT3S to turbos and race them for the last 2-3 years at least, I am surprised that no one researched or spoke to one of those tuners to benefit from their experience.

Having said that if you are going to talk big and promise things eventually comes a point where its put up or shut up. Your cars best known time is a mid 11, if you ran faster in secret how would anyone know? The way you constantly mention your 0-60 time and smoking all these Enzos and other supercars it doesnt seem like any point to keep that a secret.

I really don't care about your opinion.
If you would like me to put up or shut up then I would expect you to do the same. Mid eleven's and no better.
I'll take her to Sacramento or Infineron with you as a witness. We'll start at 11.3 seconds and we'll start at $50.00. For every tenth of a second under 11.3 you double that amount payable to me for wasting my time. That would cost you $200 if I am lucky enough to run 11.0 flat. If I run a 10.0 then let's just say you will have paid for the motor that you will be lucky enough to have seen first hand. If we can't better the 11.3 then everything you said was accurate and I'll pay you 5K for wasting your time.

With all the information you have about me this should be easy picken's for you.

With all the time and effort and money you have in your car i hope you achieve your goals. What you ran in the past doesnt really matter now since you obviously changed your whole set up. So i dont see any point in keeping a secret about it, but thats your call.

I haven't claimed KA as anything but faster than the 11.3 that was advertised in Excellence Magazine for a run that took place in May of 2003, on a very hot day with a head wind. Also don't forget the wheels were spinning on the tires as documented by Dave Colman using shoe polish. Even with what was just mentioned her sixty foot time was 1.6 seconds and that was 2.5 years ago. I can tell you she ran faster than 11.3 since then. You are the one who said or implied she wasn't any faster.
As for my set up, it has been in constant change since the day she landed in the USA. It was in chance over the two different days Colman ran KA. One run had bulds in the Y Pipe the other run has insulating jackets on the exterior of the Y Pipe. Who knows, my latest changes may be great or they may be a bust.
As for the future, I already stated to buddy in an above post that I would make a run and post some numbers once I was finished modifying. I believe we are within 30-60 days of being finished.
TT993 ........ let's just forget about what has been said in this thread. I'd be glade to buy you a beer if we meet in the future. No hard feelings here.

You have been a very, very patient person. Don't get excited too fast, but I asked Rob to put together a price for a full roll cage. What's the point of having the power, suspension and brakes if no one will let you use the car without a cage.
