Am I the only one in the world with a 996tt (2001) with 107,000 miles with the original clutch and brake pads? . It's also modded, flash and exhaust.

No, street and highway. Light feet, ( not loafers) . Every time I get service at Champion each wheel shows green on the brake pad check up.

If you haven't changed brake pads, maybe you shouldn't drive a Porsche.

wtf original pads? are you using the engine to do your braking, or always finding a upwards slope to coast up to a stop?

Macster is over 100k with original clutch, and I think T2 is over 300k with his original clutch too.

...and this is all on the street too!

JK, I know you can sing through tires and brakes on the track. When club racing Superbikes, I'd get about 100 miles out of a set of tires and front brake pads.

Impressive. The clutch I can certainly believe, but the brake pads is crazy talk. Have you had any other wear items fail yet? How often do you go through tires?

double clutching a synco geared car serves no purpose. double clutch only applies for a trans with straight cut gears like a big rig.

I'm the type of person who drives looking far ahead of myself and I am always timing lights. It seems weird to me when I'm riding passenger with someone who will stay on the throttle until they get within 100ft of the red stop light and then brake hard. So it's not surprising to me that there is such a wide range of mileage people get out of brake pads. Especially in small/lighter cars.
