JK, I know you can sing through tires and brakes on the track. When club racing Superbikes, I'd get about 100 miles out of a set of tires and front brake pads.
double clutching a synco geared car serves no purpose. double clutch only applies for a trans with straight cut gears like a big rig.
I'm the type of person who drives looking far ahead of myself and I am always timing lights. It seems weird to me when I'm riding passenger with someone who will stay on the throttle until they get within 100ft of the red stop light and then brake hard. So it's not surprising to me that there is such a wide range of mileage people get out of brake pads. Especially in small/lighter cars.
