Fuel pump kit suggestions

I am going from k16 Billets to K24 20Billets and going to need another fuel pump or stronger single one.

I am looking for a complete bolt on package to hand over to my shop to install, before driving 9hr down to EPL for a tune. All nuts, bolt, brackets, pump etc..

I was thinking of a second 044 pump, but with all needed items to make it a straight bolt on.

I was also thinking pending on the price, is there a kit for a single larger fuel pump?

My mods are below, but I am also getting EVOM inlet piping, SpeedTech Hi-Flow inlet plenum (connect to the stock air box and the EVOM pipes) and Aquamist meth kit with dual 1.0mm nozzles spraying 100meth.

I need this to my door no later then next week Wednesday.

Suggestions please.

Thanks

Bobby Ali

From what I have been told ,, when I did my 044 add on at Kelly Moss racing with help from Markski, that if possible stay away from surge tanks? We did have one for my 044 when we did my install but it was not advised or used.
Besides at your level one should be fine,,as I think Tony will tell you..

speaking with chris at usp this is the way to go for fueling. easy to install and safe. im sure theres many ways to do this. i was advised against the 044 due to heat and if it fails you may not know it in time to keep from doing damage

My opinion is this: An additional inline pump is a bandaid for people that are on the fine line. With 24/20's you are WAY past the fine line. You should just spend the $4k-$5k on your last fuel system. A full system and surge tank is the way to go. Just look at any "big build" system. Your fuel system is the heart of your car. Cheap out there...and you will pay later...dearly. If EPL or Markski don't have anything, I would go with USP's setup.

I have spoken to the main tuners that do K24/20s when I was thinking of going to them from my 18g set-up with my 72 injectors and extra 044 pump> which is not a band aid at this or that level> many out there have ran that set-up for many years,,All said I have more then enough fuel for those,,unless I was thinking about E85..

Yesterday I did see the SAAD racing fuel setup in person that Undercover posted and it is a very nice kit. Billet hat, nice brackets, fittings etc. USP setup obviously work well. Either way you choose, you need to be willing to spend the money on the fuel system. Most do not want to spend what it takes. The other "kit" mentioned earlier shouldnt even be referred to as a kit, its a boostapump 044 with few ft of hose and fittings. Cheap way of doing it is putting a walbro 450 intank instead of the stock 040 Bosch. Problem is the fuel line splits right after the pump and some fuel goes to the motor and some back down to the jet pump, this robs the fp flow/pressure and power rating.

many good suggestions, I would recommend debating this with your tuner at the end he will be responsible making your car run correctly

I run 911tuning.com 044 fuel setup with great success

bets of luck
