Thumbs up Our own "6Speedonline" PORSCHE dealership?

Just a thought guys....how cool would it be if the members here on 6Speed open up our own Porsche dealership. Just think of it...a Porsche dealership run by real Porsche fanatics!! Don't know how much cash we need up front or what it will take for Porsche to let us open one, but it will be something totally different. It can even be a forum here so cars can be ordered and sold via the internet and delivered. Who better to help and get advice on than the guys from 6Speed!! Not sure what state it would be based in...most likely NY? Who knows, maybe it can even turn a profit??? Just a crazy idea I guess. What do you think Darren?

It'll never happen. Promise.

Now, on the other hand, if a few folks formed a partnership, and had enough money on the table, and a location that worked for Porsche (not too close to other dealerships, enough population, demographics, money, etc), and had past experience in the automotive dealership management end, THEN you might be able to open a door. Otherwise, fuggettaboutit.

Sounds like a badass idea, and you would sell a ****load of cars too. Defineltly something to look in to.
Or why not a 6speedonline online modshop, great way to contribute to the forum.

Its very hard to even buy an existing dealership let alone start a new one, it wont happen, Porsche will say no, it takes a lot more than just knowledge on the car to run a dealership.

you can start a pre-owned facility out of the blue, a new car store, especially something likes porsche takes stack and stacks of credentials.
