You went to GT2 hydraulics eventually due to personal preference or mechanical failure of the TT system?
See my reply above. I didn't have any drivability issues with the stock hydraulics but I swapped to the GT2 hydraulics because I wanted a maintenance free system and since I frequently track my car I wanted less to go wrong, if that makes sense. Since the engine and gearbox was out it was easy to do. I replaced everything with OEM GT2 parts. Drilled and tapped the gearbox as per GT2, removed all the old hydraulic lines and installed a GT2 reservoir in the rear. The GT2 non assist system is great, you do get slightly better clutch feel and you really don't notice the stiffer pedal at all. It literally takes 30 seconds driving the car for it to feel natural but in the other hand it feels totally bizarre driving a stock TT with the Honda light clutch.

Fullthrottleguy is on a distinguished road
Thanks for the info everyone.
I'm going with the SACHS Racing 1098 disk and 764 pressure plate... much like the stock clutch in the GT2. Mike from AWE is hooking me up!

You'll be happy with that clutch. I would get rid of the OEM clutch assist while your gearbox is out. It's about an extra $1000-2000 (depending which route you go) but well worth it and much more reliable in the long run.
