But ig uess your right, that's without the other necessary components to make it run sufficient (Lightweight clutch/glywheel, internals and so on)

If you are talking about the GT640 yes that price excludes internals which I would highly recommend!

No, no, no, no. Drag racing is all in the launch and you've got to launch hard. You do not want to launch in second gear, you want to launch in first gear. Keep it off the rev limiter. No way in Hell will you trap 150 MPH. Good luck!

Funny isn't it? These cars are not drag cars at all but it is amazing what we are starting to see them doing. Personally I am way more excited about the track event in September than going to the drags. But everybody wants to know what it will run in the quarter. (I kinda want to know too)

Right now it is all on paper. In about two months we'll know. Don't be too hard on me if we fall a little short.
Wow you guys are simply crazy
Buddyg your car will kill a CGT in a drag race (as you might already know
) and cjv trapping at 150mph is insane but I believe can be done!!
Edit: Do you guys have any videos of your cars??

Other wise it may be your front differential. Any better informed people want to chime in. What do I know anyway? If it were mine I might just get the car moving and then rip second and third gear. I have never been in your car but it should go 10's. Even if it does not it should hit 150 within real soon after the 1/4. That is fast as hell for a street car.

Buddy, I look forward to seeing your results. As a person who has taken my turbo to the 1/4 mile track twice, I can offer you suggestions/hints if you ever have any questions. You did right when launching your car, though. The idea is to get it "barely" moving before you really lay the clutch down and hammer the throttle. Dropping the clutch in this car is a horrible idea. Because your tach cannot keep up, you will have to learn/guess/feel when your shift point in 1st gear is coming up. You'll get the hang of it. Good luck!

Where do you see a Stage 5 on Evoms.com? I don't think they offer a Stage 5. They have a GT640, as far as I know PES is the only one still doing a Stage 5.
If you are talking about the GT640 yes that price excludes internals which I would highly recommend!

I believe one reason I am not getting any bog off the line or wheel hop is it is spinning the tires in 1st gear. Which I think is okay because the wheel hop or bogging problem is probably worse for time. The car gets moving forward and you just have to rip 2nd gear quickly.

By the way, how much would you be willing to pay ................ I might send you an invite.

Who's talking about 130 mph? I am talking about 150 mph. That 20 mph difference will add seconds to you time, not tenths of a second. And yes, I am an expert at drag racing. More than 2,000 runs, 35 years, wins and losses, twisted axles, etc. You'll have to reduce your weight by 500 pounds, extremely cold intake temps, and change the stock tranny to even gain 10 MPH.
