could be the hose on drivers side that goes over the axle...
or in back of motor on top there is one line that often goes bad- the clamp rips it..

got2 is infamous around these parts
Any suggestion on what type of coolant to put in there? I'm guessing the local auto store stuff won't do.

audi/vw g12 coolant is the same but less expensive than the porsche branded and is "anti gel" OAT coolant. you need to mix it 50/50 with distilled water.

Hey, sorry to hear about your bad luck. That's a bummer and away from home. If you get it back to SF Bay area, I think Sharkwerks in Fremont has an alternative method which pins the coolant fittings. There was some discussion about weld porosity and the potential to leak at the welds. But a weld is 100% solid. Just food for thought.

Also, if you get a chance, log your issue with NHTSA. They have an investigation started on Porsche coolant fittings, which may result in a recall. You can find the specific complaint here:

http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/cars/pr...ct/results.cfm
Use this number in the "Action item" box. PE13009

PM me if you need some help. I live in the Bay Area. Good luck.
