a very sad day for me, me and my tt cab involved in a major accident today
I had a similar wreck just after Christmas in 2001. I was in my NSX, and an old lady turned across three lanes of oncoming traffic. I was in the last lane with a car just to the left and a little ahead of mine. So, I don't the old lady ever saw me coming. From my point of view it was if her car was dropped out of the sky right in front of me.
I hit her broadside. My car got totalled, and I am sure hers did, too.
I knew she was hurt because an ambulance and two firetrucks came. I later found out she had a broken leg and other fractures and that she was in the hospital for 6 months. I though I was OK, at least at first. I ended up in the ER with terrible head and neck pain. I was prescribed Vicodin for many months, and eventually the doctors found that I had cracked my C4 vertebra (neck).
The whole things sucked badly. I still have neck, shoulder and left arm pain, especially if I dont get enough sleep or when I can't get to the gym.

Mike, so sorry to hear this.
Very glad you walked away. Your car is damaged but you are irreplaceable, so that's most important.
I got hit head-on several years ago, and was happy just to be alive after that.
