03 996TT Baseline Dyno Today 382 RWHP

Dyno'd my 03 996TT today to get a baseline before modifications, currently at 44K with fresh plugs and oil.

The car made 382 RWHP and 410 Ft-Lbs on a DynoDynamics dyno. As far as I can tell, the previous owner has only added a Tubi Style exhaust and EVOMS diverter valves. Maximum boost is .7 bar. We were expecting much closer to 300 RWHP since the Dyno Dynamics reads about 18% lower than a Dynojet. I'm going to assume there could be an upgraded tune already flashed to the ECU? Or would you guys consider these normal numbers with just an exhaust and diverter valves?

didn't come out that great...

schwarz is on a distinguished road
382 RWHP sounds about healthy and almost stock for a TT in my opinion.

I had my car dyno'd on a Dyno Dynamics and made 398 RWHP baseline, which I was shown equates to around 450 HP on the flywheel.

Thanks guys. I'm just going to start with a flash and go from there. How much boost can be run on the factory wastegate actuators? Or at what point should they be upgraded?

your tuner should tell you.... on stock K16s you do not change the Wgs... those turbos are blowing hot air after 1.1+ bar... so stock are just fine....

I never saw a Dyno Dynamics model like that...
A good tune should give you about 75HP to the wheels..

It's a friend of mines 2WD dyno, very portable. This was actually a Dyno Day he was doing at another shop. Pretty amazing boost in HP without changing any hardware

I see where you are coming from. My car made 439 whp on a dyno dynamics, and then 2 weeks later made 525 on a dynojet. If it's a super low reading dyno, it would seem that the car might be tuned. But the .7 bar does not suggest it.
