Who has pre made E85 fuel kits? Other then Pro EFI?

 

I'm not sure if many people have a pre-made E-85 fuel system , usually they are custom made for each car , which we have done many custom fuel systems for E-85 here but not too sure if you are looking to send the car out to have the work done .

 

What Tony said , it will have to be an in house install , the car will need to be here to be here at the shop.

 

E85 requires much more volume of fuel to accomplish any particular power level. Depending of level of power you can be looking at larger pumps, fuel lines, fuel rails and injectors.

You know what happens if the fuel delivery is low. One mistake can be very costly.

 

proefi only has the flex fuel sensor not a premade kit. there arent any ready bolt in kits available each shop has their ideas on what makes a good fuel system.

for me its a oem system from the tank to a surge with a bosche 044 feeding less than 5 psi and a magnafuel 625 big pumo for anything above 5 psi a 75 micron weldon prefilter and 2 10 micron post filters running thru an8 teflon lines into custom made rails 1000cc injectors and a weldon fpr with a an6 return to the surge tank and back to the oem tank

 

I believe USP sells a kit.

 

they have a radium surge tank that will hold 2 walbro 465 e85 pumpos but the lines and such are still built in house

 

it makes sense. Its an involved process.

weldon fpr, 3 high performance filters 630$
magnafuel 625 fuel pmp, bosche 044 fuel pump 590$
drivers side fuel rail 75$
1000cc injectors 721$
tbolt clamps (6) 118$
custom made surge tank 150$
teflon an8 and an6 lines with fittings 400$ total was 2634$

dont know why it would cost another 2500$ to install it. my shop is doing this plus proefi install mafless y pipe and intakes and welding the coolant lines welding the tial bov onto the y pipe modifying the rails for an fittings and installing the intial tune from the tuner for 3500$

Injectors as well are needed and installed. The fuel system needs to be put together. Etc. Oem drivers side fuel rail etc. . On and on.
How much did randy get it done for. Any idea?
This is not as easy as throwing prices of parts needed.

I was quoted 4,100 with install on a dual pump and surge tank, 1000cc injectors….etc and everything else needed for an E85 system. A reputable shop in NJ.

 

The "ProEFI" Fuel Kit everyone is referencing is the Saad Racing 996/997 E85 kit. It includes two Bosch 044s, a Billet Fuel Pump Hat (NO Surge Tank), Hardlines, Modified Fuel Lines, Ethanol Spec Fuel Lines, AEM Fuel Regulator, Necessary Install Materials, and a variety of Injector Options.

inj are in the price. dont know what randy paid i can only say what im paying. the shop is knowledgable talented and able. the prices were to show that 5k for a fuel system is overpriced like many porsche things.
