Just put in EVO V-Flow on my 996TT

Hi Everybody,

I finished installing this EVO V-Flow (that I picked up from Alex @SHARKWERKS earlier that day......THANKS ALEX!!!!!!) last night at 11:30 p.m., took the car out for a drive and I can't get this smile off my face

I need major feedback from other TT owners with this intake cuz I have to be imagining that this intake gave me so much throttle response I don't know what to do with it and actually difference in HP I can feel.........am I imagining this? Does this thing really work this good? Just from an Intake?

Thanks!

Hey man good to see you as ever... I don't have all the dynos for it at home but Todd can post them up. The difference is pretty major on any bosted card. If I remember right it was like 27RWHP on a stage II car? Also, I got 150rpms less lag:P

Do you have the new Dry Filter

which won't blow the MAF, like most of the other ones did ?

Glad to hear you have good results! I got one from Sharwerks also but have yet to install it.

What else do you have on your car? Is it stock?

Had an opportunity to get a quick ride in a GT640 TT and ooohh boy was it nice!

It's definitely not good to hang out at Sharkwerks..

hmmm...still holding out on this one because of the amount of issues people have had. I love doing small upgrades, but i HATE dealing with little problems...CEL's, MAF's.

Also, because of the exposed design, does water get into the box when it rains? Might be a dumb question, but it seems that it would go in through the decklid?

Hehe yeah I love the spool up of the 640/700 turbos. Such great low end torque and quickness... It sucks hanging out here man! Believe it or not I'm going to actually work on my car today and play!

It has drain holes just the same as the stock unit so water does not build up etc... Good question though!

I had sharkwerks install one on my TT and you do notice the increase HP and TQ.

You do need to replace the DV as they tend to go with the increased boost and HP.

We worth the 20+ increase in HP & TQ.

Get the items from Sharkwerks as they know better than any other shop what little items may arise.
