Sunroof Not Working Properly!

Last month when I went to open my sunroof it wouldn't open with one touch like it always has. I searched the forums and did the proper reset by holding the tilt button in up position and holding it for 10 seconds and it goes through its learning cycle setting but it doesn't hold the memory for some reason after I cycle the ignition. I ordered a new switch hoping it would fix it and I installed it today, I also cleaned the track out with air and used some silicone spray to lubricate the tracks. After replacing a new switch, cleaning the tracks, reset still not working properly. The only way I can open it is by using the tilt in up position close it by hitting the forward button then it will open with one touch using the open button but it still does not hold the memory after I cycle the ignition. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated I hate when things don't work the way they should. BTW mine is a 2001 Thx!

If it winds up needing a complete cassette assembly replacement, that will cost thousands. If ends up being the problem, replace it with a CF roof. Just got finished installing one on my 996tt and looks great!

It also removed over 40 lbs of weight off the roof, too!
