Garage Cabinet Recommendation?

I'm looking for cool garage cabinets that don't break the bank.

I thought 14 of these for about a grand would work:

... but they don't look too hot in person.

Somebody had posted pictures of a nice black/silver setup. Who was that?

Any ideas where I should look for cabinets?

Thanks,

Oliver

Gladiator is great, and you can do it bit by bit, as budget allows.

I was doing some research on this particular idea. and i have a supplier that would be able to do a full custom cabinetry. You would have to get the counter top. Also it is essentially Kitchen cabinets i think

Stackon @ Sears reasonably priced, great contstuction, different models and sizes. You can find them online I bought mine when they were onsale. They have tall 7 or 8' cabinets too. I have three styles 2 door hanging, 2 door hanging with extra pull out droor, and 2 door rolling mobile cabinets. The stackon work bench sucked so I bought a 200LB butcher block work bench from Costco Online.

In order for a true custom look, have some made. They aren't ridiculously expensive. I opted for a butcher block counter top. It doesn't stain and looks better in the garage than any other option in my opinon.

Robert,

Your garage is awesome. I wish mine was big enough to do something like that.

The house I just bought only has a 20 x 20 garage, I can fit two cars and have about 40" on one side and 36" in the front. My old garage had room for two Porsches, a BMW, and cabinets.

The tile I just ordered is similar to your floor. Do you have any issues with tire marks?

Are you going to be down in LA at the famous German Auto Fest next weekend? Let me know, we should meet up.

Meet up? let's caravan down. That's 3/4 of the fun of the event.

As far as the floor marking, it is starting to get some yellow marks fromt he hot tires. I have to be honest though, I kind of like the yellow marks, makes the floor look like it's actually used - not too perfect if you know what I mean.

The floor is Armstrong commercial grade vinyl tile, FYI.
