Headlight covers for tt?

Question, does anyone make a headlight cover for the tt that can be put on and taken off easily? Reason being I want to paint it solid red and run it during the day and then be able to take it off at night.

Thanks in advance!

Only thing I can think of would be to somehow get a set of the factory clear headlight covers and somehow adapt them to fit over the clear ones. At least the clear lexan covers would be formed to fit, but I don'b believe you can get them apart from the entire headlight assembly. Plus, if you have those pop-up washer heads that could present a problem as well.

Here's a wild-*** thought. Techart and others make the covers with the holes for the headlight and fog light already cut out. Maybe the factory has the pieces that were cut out that would otherwise be scrap. Then you could mount the covers and use the other pieces to put in or take out as necessary. How to attach them would be another story.

Gotta go have another beer now!

Don, which covers are those?? I am thinking of doing the samething...I know Fred has the Techarts, but I am wondering if there is a better (not overpriced) solution...
I also seek Strosek makes them and I will check on their pricing, but curious which route you went??
Also, how are they installed?? Do you have any idea how much you were charged to have them painted??
